🎶 What a night at Business Beats Cancer Dundee! 🎶

It was fantastic to see the PME Group team come together last night to support such an important cause at the Business Beats Cancer annual dinner. There was plenty of competitive spirit on the table… 🏆 we’re delighted to say that PME Group took home the Music Quiz trophy! 🎵

Most importantly, it was a fantastic evening of fundraising, with a huge amount of money raised for Cancer Research UK - a brilliant achievement and a great example of what can happen when Dundee’s business community comes together for such an important cause.

A huge well done to everyone involved in organising the event, and to all the businesses and individuals who helped make the evening such a success.

Proud to have been part of it — and even prouder of that quiz win! 🏆🎶

As an employee-owned business, we’re incredibly proud to invest in the next generation and provide young people with the opportunity to learn, develop and build a rewarding career within the industry.

Lucas is already making a great impression, and we’re excited to see him grow his skills and knowledge as he begins his career with us. 🔧⚡

Thanks to Kanzen for Life for having us at the Kanzen 4 Life Kiltwalk! 🥾🏴

The legs have only just started to recover for some of the team! 😅 With over 40,000 steps and around 6 hours on the go, it was no easy challenge — but the PME team absolutely smashed it.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took part and helped raise awareness and support for such a fantastic cause. 💙

Two experienced plumbers, one unstoppable team… so inseparable that around here they’re better known as KENROY! 😂

With plenty of years on the tools between them, Kenny and Roy know their way around a plumbing job — and when it comes to their favourite kit, they’re big fans of Bahco wrenches and grips. 🔧🛠️

💡 Myth vs. Fact: Electrical Safety Edition

Myth: Flickering lights are nothing to worry about.

Fact: Flickering lights could indicate loose wiring or an overloaded circuit and should always be investigated by a qualified electrician.

Don't brush off those flickering bulbs! While it might just be a dying bulb, it can often be a warning sign of a much bigger issue, such as:

⚡ Loose wiring: A major causes of electrical fires

⚡ Overloaded circuits: Your system struggling to handle high-wattage appliances

⚡ Voltage fluctuations: Unstable power supply that can damage sensitive electronics

When in doubt, play it safe. If flickering persists after changing the bulb, skip the DIY guesswork and call a certified electrician to inspect your system! 🛠️⚡
