π§ Quick heads-up before the weather turns: summer is actually the best time to get your boiler serviced - not winter.
Here's why: engineers are far less booked up right now, small faults are easier (and cheaper) to catch before they become breakdowns, and most manufacturer warranties need an annual service to stay valid.
Swipe through π these are a few of the things a service actually catches - limescale-corroded electrodes, a leaking pressure relief valve, dust and grime building up on internal components. All invisible from the front of the boiler, all things an engineer checks as standard.
Nobody wants to think about heating in August, but a boiler that's been checked over now is one less thing to worry about when it does get cold.
