Growing chemical free vegetables, with love to nature and the soil.

Wow the autumn light recently has been incredible!!

We’re slowing down over here. Our amazing little team, Evy and Ellie have finished for the season and we couldn’t be more grateful. We mean it when we say, we couldn’t have done this season without them. Trying to run a farm as new parents has been a little hectic at times but these two have held everything together while also putting up with lively lunchtime screams. Most of the veg you have eaten from us this season was harvested from these two so you have them to thank - thank you thank you!!

You may have noticed we are changing our farmstand fills to Fridays only (full from 11am) - open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and closed during the rest of the week. The field still has a bunch of lovely autumn/winter crops (our tunnels are probably the fullest they have been at this time of year - thanks again to Ellie and Evy!). Our current favourites being these beautiful salad turnips and the autumn salad mix (full of so many leaves including gorgeous chicories, chervil, landcress). Eggs, milk and meat will still be added on Fridays too.

We’ll keep you updated when things change again - it’s looking like we might have a cold but beautifully bright weekend ahead.

On the market stall tomorrow - summer meets autumn, although these photos are very much saying autumn we do also have loads of tomatoes, cucumbers and aubergines too. By this time last year we’d had a frost (September 17th and a new lovely baby distraction) which wiped out the tomatoes early. This year there’s still no sign of frost (still plenty baby distractions) and the veg keeps on growing! Come get some while it lasts. The market is on from 11am to 3pm - in the gorgeous location outside the and there’s a whole lot of amazing stall holders. We loved it last month and no doubt it will be wonderful again tomorrow. Hopefully see you then 🌱

Crazy to think of all the veg we’ve sold over the years (5 seasons at Little Trochry plus 2-3 at ) - wondering what it would look like in one big market stall pile?!

Our small but mighty team have been working super hard recently. Even with the mixed weather we have been harvesting more than this time last year. Iain has also taken on the role as w**d manager and wow is it tidy!

You can find all these gorgeous veggies in our farmstand and also at Aberfeldy Farmers Market this Sunday 10-2pm

Unfortunately we’ve also had some slight struggles - beetroot being eaten by rodents, cucumbers and aubergines looking a bit sad (hopefully they’ll perk up) and squash being battered by the wind just after planting! But there are more positives than bad and the majority of the veg is looking beautiful- a team favourite right now being the Florence fennel.

Come get your veggie fill this weekend, whether at the farmstand or the market, we’ve got loads for both!

It’s farmstand day tomorrow!

Our polytunnels are pumping out loads of amazing greens right now. Find them fresh in the farmstand tomorrow from 11am (and all weekend, we have so much!). Plus it’s our first market weekend - on Sunday we’ll be at Aberfeldy from 10am to 2pm with veg and some plants! We can’t wait to be back.

Come say hi and nourish your tummies with this nutrient dense food 🌱

Farmstand officially opening for the season! Next Friday, April 17th. It will be full and ready to rock from 11am - with our main top ups happening on Tuesdays and Fridays, for 11am (but keep a look out on socials for regular updates).

We’ll have all our Little Trochry nature friendly veg and pasture raised eggs, plus lots of our favourite Scottish products from last year, as well as some new things!

Expect to see **dairy jersey milk back! Plus , asparagus, berries( from May), , flour…

Plus this season we have plans to add some new things - including a freezer full of regenerative hogget and beef from our sisters farm

Everything you buy at the farmstand is Scottish and it’s truly amazing all the delicious things there are available!

We also have a new payment system so you can easily pay by card.

Watch this space for the grand opening farmstand tour - we can’t wait to get it all full again.

On that note… there’s actually eggs, mizuna and spring radishes in there this weekend (they surprised us and are ready sooner than expected) - go get them!
