Tried posting this to a group that I sometimes sell my sculptures through. But they declined it, cowards. So, you can have a ganders.

Blocking anyone in this group who uses generative AI.

I don't care if you just use it for a nice background, or to make a flyer. I am sorry if learning photoshop is too difficult, or you aren't willing to pay someone who knows how.

But, art is supposed to be difficult. It takes years of dedication to feel brave enough to even call yourself an artist out loud. It takes patience, self-doubt, failure upon failure, blood, sweat and tears. Anything worth anything, is difficult.

Generative AI doesn't care about art, it cares about money. Taking money from those with talent and giving it to those without.

Generative AI, is trained on hundreds of thousands of hours of stolen art and literature. Taken without permission and without compensation or recognition. It takes an artists life and soul, and packages it as a commodity to make more money for the worst people on Earth, those without conscience, without empathy, without joy, without any of the core attributes that make someone want to be an artist in the first place.

Art is difficult. Van Gogh died poor, Sam Cooke died poor, Antoni Gaudi died poor. Those who won't die poor, are the parasites that own the companies that have stolen art from all of these people, and countless others trying to scrape a living today.

F**k generative AI, and f**k everyone cheering on our own obsolesence.

**URGENT APPEAL** - Please like and share!!!!

Most people will scroll past this. But you are not like most people, you are an exceptional humanitarian and a snazzy dresser to boot.

Did you know that Highland Coos are an excellent source of firewood? Every year, hundreds of healthy coos are used to stoke the fires of, amongst other things, kitten crushing machines, the houses of the English aristocracy, and allegedly Nigel Farage's aga.

This coo is named Doogie McCooface, he is a salt of the earth type and a single father. He needs to be saved from the chopping block, you are his only hope.

So, this is actually a chainsaw sculpture and is currently available. It is carved from a solid piece of old growth, windfall Larch. Finished with several coats of high-quality UV resistant teak oil.

"Peace" - From spalted driftwood.

"The Balance of Power..." From a storm felled piece of old growth Larch.
