We're proud to support St Barnabas Hospice, but saddened to hear about the repeated damage to their Wragby Road shop.
St Barnabas does incredible work for our community, and it's deeply frustrating to see a charity under such financial pressure being targeted in this way — not once, but three times since May last year.
We were glad to be able to respond quickly this morning and get the window replaced, but the real concern is the ongoing strain these incidents place on such a vital local organisation.
And if you'd like to show your support for St Barnabas Hospice, please visit their shops, donate goods, or contribute online at 👉 https://stbarnabashospice.co.uk/donate/
Let's look out for each other and the charities that make our community stronger. 💙
We are disappointed to share that our Wragby Road shop has experienced external damages this morning.
This is the third incident of a similar nature since May last year. Luckily, no goods have been taken, however the cost of repairing the window is once again a strain on the hospice at a financially difficult time.
The team have taken every measure to keep the shop secure, including moving high-value donations into locked cabinets and ensuring no cash is on the premises overnight. It now feels that such incidents are targeted to the hospice, which is frustrating for us all.
If you have any information regarding the incident, please quote incident number 84 – 16th June 2026. Thanks to TWG for their quick arrival, meaning the window has now been replaced.
