COVID-19 Procedure/Risk Assessment from November 2020
We can continue work in a domestic home, providing that we are well and have no symptoms of COVID-19.
We will notify all homeowners in advance of arrival.
If a meeting beforehand is required about the job this will be carried out in an open/outdoor space such as the garden, porch, driveway or terrace.
On entry to the home, we will, where possible, wash our hands using soap and water for 20 seconds.
We will, where possible, wash our hands regularly, particularly after touching any surfaces and when leaving the property.
Where facilities for hand washing are not available, hand sanitiser/wipes will be used, we will carry these with us at all times and have a secondary supply in the van.
We will, where possible, maintain a safe distance (at least 2 metres) from any household occupants at all times.
Where social distancing might not be possible then it’s advised that we will wear a face covering.
We will ensure good ventilation in the area where we are working, including opening any windows/doors.
No work will be carried out in any household which is isolating or where an individual is being shielded, unless the work is to remedy a direct risk to the safety of the household, such as an emergency electrical issue.
We reserve the right to terminate/postpone any work if we feel any of the above cannot be achieved at the present time.
Thankyou,
Stay Safe.
