🚀 Big promotion news! 🚀

We're absolutely delighted to announce that Ross Armstrong has been promoted to Contracts Manager! 🎉

A word from our MD, Calum Preston:
"When Ross joined the business nearly five years ago, he was, in my words, a bit of a rough diamond. The raw ability was there, the attitude was right, and the potential was obvious. But there was still plenty to learn and develop.

Fast forward to today, and it's fantastic to see just how far he's come.

Over the last two years as Project Manager, Ross has consistently shown the drive, ambition and commitment needed to make a real impact on the business. He's taken on responsibility, pushed himself to develop, and helped push Zenith forward with him.

What stands out most is his ability to build relationships. His interpersonal skills have earned him the respect and trust of colleagues, clients and our supply chain partners alike. He's grown into a strong leader, and importantly, someone people genuinely want to work with.

One of the things I take the greatest pride in as the owner of Zenith is seeing our people develop and progress within the business. Promoting from within is incredibly important to me personally, and Ross is a fantastic example of exactly why we believe so strongly in that approach.

This promotion is thoroughly deserved. Congratulations Ross... keep pushing, keep developing and keep being yourself. I'm excited to see what the next chapter brings 👏"

🛒 What a month! 🛒

Four Aldi UK stores. One month. Job absolutely done 💪

Massive shoutout to the entire Zenith team who delivered on all four Aldi projects throughout July:
✅ 2nd July: Aldi Kidsgrove
✅ 15th July: Aldi Bramley
✅ 29th July: Aldi Stockton
✅ 31st July: Aldi Alvaston
And we're not slowing down anytime soon 🚀 All three of our Aldi regions (Darlington, Goldthorpe and Sawley) are up and running and will keep going back-to-back for the rest of the year.

That's four handovers in one month, delivered safely, on time and to the standard our clients expect. This is exactly what a well-drilled team looks like 🎯

Huge credit to every single person involved 👏 From the lads on the tools to the coordination happening behind the scenes, this one is a proper team win.

🏟️ Back where we belong... welcome to the Premier League, Hull City! ⚽🐅

Cue the roar of the Tiger Nation 🐅🔥

We're absolutely buzzing to share that our team has just delivered a monster refit at the MKM Stadium, getting it match ready for Hull City's long awaited return to the Premier League 💪

And what a way to make our debut... ready in time for last weekend's fixture, where the Tigers only went and beat Manchester United at a packed out MKM, leaving the red devils well and truly Mauled by the Tigers 🐅💥

⏱️ The stopwatch was ticking...
Two weeks of demolition, then four and a half weeks to deliver the refit. That's it. No extra time, no VAR, no second chances 😅 A programme that would've had most teams asking for the ball back... but our lot laced up their boots and got stuck in 💪

🌟 Investing in our people 🌟

Matt and Lee had the privilege of attending the Trans2 Performance Retreat Course at The Grove Hotel, and what an experience it turned out to be 🙌

From the moment they arrived, the venue set an exceptional standard, creating the perfect environment for an intense but rewarding few days

The course took them through emotional highs and lows, but every challenge was met with understanding, support, and plenty of light hearted humour along the way 😂

Because at the end of the day, we're all only human, and those moments of laughter are what remind us of that.

It was a powerful few days that encouraged growth, connection, and lasting memories 💪

Massive thanks to the whole team at T2 The People Performance People 👏 All the staff were absolutely brilliant, with special mentions to Martin Johnson and team lead Spencer Locker for keeping the lads on point and always questioning the WHY 🎯

Break out the cake and the candles... our Site Manager James Orwin is officially 40 today! 🎂🥳

From joiner to Site Manager, from local projects to sites across the UK and Europe, James has packed 24 years of construction know how into his career and joined the Zenith family back in 2018 🏗️

Four decades on this planet, 24 years in construction, and still going as strong as ever 😉 Not bad going James, not bad at all.

🎉 New face on the team! 🎉

A big Zenith welcome to Becky, our new Assistant Commercial Manager! 🙌

Becky joins us with a cracking combination of skills. She graduated with a Law and Criminology degree from the University of Hull 🎓 before heading into the new build housing industry with Gleeson Homes as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, managing project costs, valuations and subcontractor accounts.

That mix of legal training and hands on commercial experience means she brings a proper focus on risk management, negotiation and attention to detail 🔍 All the good stuff needed to keep projects profitable and successful ✅

We're buzzing to have Becky on board and can't wait to see the impact she makes 💪

From work experience to apprentice 💼

Remember Ava? 👋 She joined us last year for a week of work experience while still at school, helping out in our accounts and admin team.

Fast forward to now... Ava got in touch as she was finishing school to ask if we had any positions going 📞

Well, the answer was a big fat YES 🙌

We're absolutely buzzing to welcome Ava back, this time officially, as our new Accounts Apprentice! 🥳 She'll be studying towards her AAT Level 2 while getting stuck into the real thing alongside our accounts team 📊

From week one to week forever 😉 Ava's already proved she's got the drive, the attitude and the willingness to learn. Watch this space, big things ahead for this one 🚀
