We have recently taken delivery of our new Schäfer Techic bond coat sprayer, fully designed and built by our fitter John Dimmick at JDS, and what an outstanding job he has made of it! He has put hundreds of hours into this build and we can’t thank him enough!

Based on a 7.2ton Iveco chassis, this bond coat sprayer has been specced to maximise productivity on site, which includes:

🔥 Electro-diesel burner - ensures accurate heating of liquid which is thermostatically controlled to avoid overheating.

🛢️1200l capacity tank

📏 Extendable spray bar capable of spraying up to 3m width in one pass.

👷🏻Hand-lance to enable coating of hard to access locations

🚨360 degree work lights and strobes

🎥 360 degree recording camera system with side-scan cyclist and pedestrian detection.

🚧 Vehicle carries variety of cones and signs

🔥 Hot bitumen pot with drip tray

🧯 Fire Extinguisher

Large project completed this week in Teesside Airport for a valued client.

Over 1300 tonnes of tarmac has gone into this new hangar car park; including over 500 tonnes of 10mm SMA wearing course and 30 ton AC6 to footpaths.

🦺 Labourers, NVQs and Apprenticeships positions 🦺

Are you leaving school and don’t know what you want to do? Or are you looking for a change of direction? Then road construction may be what you are looking for.
This work isn’t for everyone , outdoors in all weather but an excellent way to be part of a team, gain knowledge, experience and keep fit whilst working!!

We are looking for labourers to join our family run business. We are passionate about training and progression. If you want to learn we are willing to train you in either NVQS or apprenticeship. In return you will get:

* a good starting salary with the option to progress
* uniform including boots
* option to join pension scheme depending on age initially.
* paid overtime

Training is funded and will depend on the individual.

We are ISO 9001:2015 accredited and have young people’s risk assessments on place.

You will need a CSCS card to work on any site. We may look at refunding this for the right candidates who stay in full time employment.
