🔑 HONDA HR-V SPARE PROXIMITY KEY | WHITLEY BAY 🔑

⚠️ Only got one key for your Honda? Please don’t leave it until it’s too late!

This 2023 Honda HR-V in Whitley Bay needed a spare proximity key, and there’s an important reason why I’d recommend getting one sorted sooner rather than later.

These newer Hondas use a different style of emergency key blade, meaning the specialist lock-picking tools required to gain entry aren’t something every locksmith will have.

So, if you accidentally lock your only key inside the boot, you could find yourself in a bit of a nightmare trying to get back into your own car!

Having a spare key gives you that extra peace of mind and could save you a lot of unnecessary stress and expense. 🔑

I also mention my bad back in the video… 😂 So hopefully, by the time you need me, I’ll be back in good working order myself!

🔑🚐 VW TRANSPORTER SPARE KEY | CONSETT 🚐🔑

⚠️ WHATEVER YOU DO, DON’T LOSE YOUR ONLY KEY!

This 2020 VW Transporter in Consett is running the upgraded 5C security system, meaning more complex procedures are required when adding a spare key.

These aren’t always straightforward jobs, and if you lose your only working key, things can become considerably more expensive, complicated and stressful.

That’s why I always recommend getting a spare key while you still have a working one. It’s much better to be prepared than to find yourself in a difficult situation when you least expect it!

When you choose Auto Access, you’re not dealing with a call centre or a middleman. You deal directly with me, the person carrying out the work. You can see who I am, what I do and what other customers say about my service before deciding who to trust with your vehicle security.

🚐🔑 FIAT DUCATO MOTORHOME SPARE KEY | CROOK 🔑🚐

Wow! What a motorhome this is! 😍 My customer’s recent new purchase was certainly an impressive bit of kit, and after doing his research, he decided to use Auto Access to get a spare key sorted.

I supplied, cut and programmed a spare key for his 2021 Fiat Ducato motorhome, visiting him at home at a time that suited him.

Now, you can’t ask for much more than that!

But here’s why getting a spare key sorted early was such a sensible decision. Waiting for a spare through the main dealer can potentially mean a delay of months for these vehicles, depending on availability.

And the other big bonus? By choosing Auto Access, my customer saved himself an enormous amount of money compared with the main dealer! 💷

If you’ve just bought a motorhome, campervan or van and only have one working key, please don’t leave getting a spare until you need one. The last thing you want is to be stuck waiting for a replacement when you’re ready to hit the road.

🔑 VW / SEAT MQB KEY RESHELL – DON’T RISK LOSING YOUR ONLY KEY! ⚠️

If your car key looks like this, then please pay attention!

In this video, I’m reshelling a VW / SEAT MQB key, but there’s something much more important I want you to take away from it.

🚨 If you only have ONE working key for your car, please get a spare!

If you lose your only key on these vehicles, getting a replacement programmed back into the car can be an expensive job, with additional work, stress and anxiety you could have avoided.

Getting a spare while you still have a working key is usually a much more straightforward option than waiting until all your keys are lost.

I’d much rather help you get a spare now than have you call me later in a panic because you’ve lost your only one!

🚨 One car key? You're one bad day away from a much bigger bill. 🚨

🔑 Most people only find out what a spare key is worth when they lose the last one.

Getting a spare made while you still have a working key is quicker and cheaper. Lose that last key and it becomes an all keys lost job, which takes longer and costs more. 💸

I'm Kevin from Auto Access, and I come to you anywhere in the North East. 🚗

❤️ IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT LOCKSMITHING… IT’S ABOUT THE PEOPLE. ❤️

First of all, a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to offer advice and help me out with setting up my new Starlink internet in the van. I had suggestions coming in from TikTok, Facebook and Instagram, and I genuinely appreciate every single one of you taking the time to help. 🙌

As you’ll see in the video, I managed to get it positioned in the front windscreen, but when it came to wiring it all in and getting it working… well, that’s a different story! 😂

So I headed over to see my good friend Chris at Ultimate Auto Locksmith, who kindly helped me get it sorted.

But this video means a little more to me than just getting internet working in the van.

Chris is currently going through an incredibly difficult time following his cancer diagnosis, with treatment still ahead of him. Yet he’s still getting up, facing each day and fighting on.

People like Chris remind me that no matter how difficult life gets, you keep fighting.

The auto locksmithing industry can sometimes be full of negativity, sarcasm and people who are more interested in putting others down than helping them out. But there are also some genuinely good people in this community who are always willing to offer support, share knowledge and lend a hand when it’s needed.

Chris is one of those people, and he’s been fantastic to me. More importantly, he’s a very good friend, and I’m genuinely grateful to have him in my life.

Chris, mate, I want to wish you all the very best with your upcoming treatments. I hope everything goes as well as possible, and I hope you know how many people are rooting for you.

Keep fighting, mate. ❤️

It’s easy to forget that behind every business is a person, and sometimes a little kindness and support mean far more than people realise.

🔑 VW PASSAT SPARE SLOT KEY | YARM 🔑

A job in Yarm this morning supplying a spare slot-in-dash key for a VW Passat.

In the video I explain why it’s so important not to lose your only working key on these vehicles.

If you lose the only key, the job can become considerably more involved. The glove box needs to be removed to access the comfort module, which stores the EEPROM key data, before the vehicle can be sorted.

That means more work, a bigger bill and, of course, more stress.

Thankfully, this customer decided to get a spare while they still had a working key.

I supplied, cut and programmed the new key, with the customer back up and running within 45 minutes of my arrival. 🔑✅

And as with all my supplied keys, this one comes with a 12-month warranty.

It really is one of those things that’s worth doing before you need it.

If you’ve only got one key for your VW Passat, is it worth taking the risk?

🔑 TWO SPARE KEYS - JAGUAR F-PACE & LAND ROVER FREELANDER 🔑

A 2019 Jaguar F-Pace in South Shields and a 2013 Land Rover Freelander in Ferryhill - two different vehicles, but both using the same key type.

Both customers made the sensible decision to get a spare key rather than risk being left with no keys at all.

⚠️ If you lose your only key, it can become a much more expensive job. There’s additional work involved in an all-keys-lost situation, so getting a spare while you still have a working key can save you unnecessary stress and expense.

I supplied, cut and programmed a spare key for each vehicle, giving both customers that extra peace of mind.

And here’s another important point - I’m much more cost-effective than going through the main dealer, while offering a convenient mobile service. I come to you, saving you the hassle of arranging a trip to the dealership.

🔑 VW TRANSPORTER SPARE KEYS | STOCKTON-ON-TEES 🔑

Who do you trust with your vehicle’s security?

After seeing and reading about Auto Access online, this customer chose me to be the person he trusted to supply his spare keys for his VW Transporter.

As he travels up and down the country, he wanted the reassurance of having a backup rather than relying on just one key.

I supplied, cut and programmed a new 3-button remote key, along with a transponder key to keep as an additional backup. 🚐🔑

It’s always a great feeling when someone has taken the time to research your business, see what you’re about and then puts their trust in you to look after their vehicle security.

One key might be all you need… but having a spare could save you a lot of stress when you’re hundreds of miles from home.

🔑 VW GOLF SPARE KEY & RESHELL | SHOTTON COLLIERY 🔑

This one was a bit of a noisy one! 😂

The customer called me because their existing key wasn’t working correctly and the car’s alarm was going off loudly.

I was on site and had the job completed within an hour of the initial phone call.

I supplied, cut and programmed a brand-new spare key, as well as reshelling the customer’s existing key to get that one back into good condition too.

The important thing here was the customer didn’t wait until they were completely stuck with no working key. Getting the spare sorted now gives them a bit of peace of mind and avoids the potential stress and expense of an all-keys-lost situation.

Another job done in Shotton Colliery and another customer looked after. 👍
