Another update from our dry rot project.

The repair work is progressing well. We’ve now:

• Repaired the affected flooring
• Plaster boarded the areas affected by the dry rot
• Prepared the remaining areas for their final finish

The last stage is now specialist replastering in the living room and upstairs bedroom, bringing this major remedial project towards completion.

Another DPC injection and specialist replastering job completed.

The affected area has been treated with a new injected damp proof course before being professionally replastered, helping protect the property from further rising damp and leaving the walls ready for finishing.

A leaking washing machine caused this.

What started as a leak from a washing machine has resulted in significant moisture damage to the property.

For this job, we're carrying out specialist replastering & floor reinstatement to the affected areas. We're also installing an Eco Drain system outside to help manage rainwater & moisture, protecting the property going forward.

It’s a good reminder that even a relatively small leak can lead to much more extensive damage if moisture isn't dealt with properly.

We'll share more as the work progresses.
