While carrying out an EICR, we flagged an FI (Further Investigation) on the kitchen lighting. When we returned for the remedial work, this mess is what we came across – all the kitchen lighting had been installed incorrectly! We got straight to work, correcting the issues to ensure the lighting is now safe and up to standard. Just goes to show, you never know what you'll find during an inspection!

Happy Halloween, we came across this recent horror show during a recent EICR, we found a loose cable behind a cooker connection. It’s easy to just take a reading from the cooker switch to avoid pulling out the appliance, but this is exactly why we take the time to do our tests thoroughly. Shortcuts lead to missed issues!

We installed this customers new cooker connection, and it's now back up and running safely.

We recently completed this job for a customer getting an EICR on a property in preparation for new tenants.

The old consumer unit was boxed in above the kitchen cabinets—so well hidden you wouldn’t know it was there! But, it wasn’t very accessible, and with the unit needing an upgrade, we decided the best move was to relocate it for easier access and safety. Now the property is all set and up to standard for the new tenants!
