🏡 Project Update – Crowborough Transformation Underway! 🔨

We’re excited to share the start of another fantastic home improvement project in Crowborough.

This property is undergoing a major transformation to create a much more functional and spacious family home, including:

âś… Rear kitchen extension to open up the living space
âś… Garage conversion to form part of the new kitchen and a dedicated utility room
âś… Roof space conversion creating a walk-in wardrobe and a private study/home office
âś… Full redesign to maximise both space and practicality

The existing garage and rear layout are being completely reimagined to deliver a modern open-plan kitchen, improved storage, and additional living space tailored to the homeowners’ needs.

We look forward to sharing progress photos as this project develops over the coming weeks.

Here was a small project we did recently in Lindfield. We had laid two areas of paving a couple of years ago in porcelain slabs. The client was now after a path in the same slabs to connect the two areas and to carry on to the back gate.
out with the old crazy paving and in with the new porcelain slabs, this really brings everything together and now it just looks complete!

Here’s a project we’ve just wrapped up in Reigate. The extension our client inherited never really worked as a cohesive space—the kitchen and dining room felt disconnected, and the kitchen itself was surprisingly dark.
Working closely with the client, we developed a design that removed the existing window and opened up the area as much as possible. We brought in our structural engineer, shared our plans with her, and then carried out the build based on her design.
The transformation has completely changed the feel of the home. The two rooms now flow beautifully, creating a bright, welcoming family hub and a great space for entertaining. With so much more natural light coming in, it already feels like a different house.
We’re looking forward to seeing the new kitchen and flooring go in, which will elevate the space even further.

Have a look at this project we recently completed in East Grinstead

The existing porch never matched the character and the feel of the property,
working alongside the client to find out what they wanted to achieve, between us we came up with the design to keep the existing roof intact, remove the side walls and door, take out the ceiling and old tiles, install these chunky oak posts and threshold, timber clad the ceiling, and carefully selected an indian sandstone paving that matches the stone work of the house
The result, an open porch that is much more in keeping with the age and character of the property, brought in on time, and on budget. Another happy client....on to the next one. If you like the looks of the design and think something similar could work at your property get in touch.

We have just completed an area to house the bbq and a work top, bbq constructed in hardie plank cladding, work top in a composite decking, so weather resistant and low maintenance. The Fox Free House will be having their bbq going soon, can almost smell it now, and if the bacon rolls we had were anything to go by, it will be worth a visit! Great views over the valley there too!! Apologies for the terrible music , was not the plan!🤣🤣

You may have noticed that we’ve been quiet on here (quieter than usual)! But that doesn’t mean to say that we haven’t been busy. We’ve been setting up our new business JPL Cross Property Ltd which is going to focus on buying, developing, selling and holding properties.
Over the last few months we have been analysing hundreds of deals, viewing so many properties and looking for the right opportunity. Plus endless evenings getting the right education to confidently do this (although so much more to learn always) as well as network events meeting like minded people.
