Merry Christmas to all our customers, both past and present. Thank you for all your business both this year and in past years. We have been working very hard to accommodate everyone this Christmas and are now taking bookings for the end of January 2026. # Supporting Youth in the Electrical Trade

I am sharing Jessica Barnard CertRP's post to highlight the challenges young people face when entering our industry. As a small electrical enterprise, at Ramstead Electricians we strive not only to deliver exceptional service to our clients but also to provide professional development opportunities for aspiring electricians in our community.

We have recently been able to offer a young man Harry Greaves several days of training this week and may extend additional opportunities to him in the coming weeks, our capacity is limited due to funding constraints, increased national insurance costs, and our current operational scale. Nevertheless, we remain committed to assisting him in securing a more permanent position with another organization.

We have been particularly impressed with Harry's professional attitude, enthusiasm, work ethic, and evident desire to learn. As Jessica notes in her post, due to his chosen educational pathway, he no longer meets the standard apprenticeship criteria. This means potential employers need to consider that government funding will not be available to support his training needs. Harry , possesses the technical knowledge, he just needs opportunities to extend his practical skill level by implementing what he has already learned at college.

If you share our commitment to advancing Harry's professional development—including obtaining his 18th Edition qualification, completing his AM2 assessment, and passing his 2391 Testing examinations—please consider offering him work experience within your organization. Alternatively, sharing Jessica's post could connect Harry with employers seeking an exceptional trainee candidate who could become a valuable team member.

Hi Everyone hope your day is going well?

There's obvious changes needed like telephone numbers and the removal of the stock photo we previously used of the random guy waving. Let's be honest he is probably better looking than Dave or Ben! ha ha but, then he does not look like his been crawling round peoples lofts. Normal business for our team so no wonder we look a little worse for wear lol.

That said, what I want to know is what do you (and I am talking here to all our lovely loyal customers) want to see in our content? What do we do right or wrong depending on your perspective?

You know how much we love and value you all, your why we keep going instead of retiring so please bring the comments good or bad were keen to keep your approval and repeat business! and we would love to see you all recommending our services when you can.

Merry Christmas Everyone we hope this year will be joyful and full of time with friends and loved ones.

It's been a tough year rebuilding our presence on Facebook after going through a tough family crisis last Christmas. We will be celebrating our son Max's 1st Liverversary this Christmas and giving thanks for all our loyal customers and friends who supported us when Max was terminally ill.

We really appreciate your continued business and we hope that we have lived upto your expectations.

We're super proud of Ben Cowley our Apprentice who qualified as a competent Electrician in August after completing his 4 years of training with us. You'll all be seeing more of Ben in the future as he continues to work as part of our team.

Please be aware we will be closing for all but electrical emergencies over the Christmas period. Our last working day in December will be the 19th and we will re open on Monday, 6th January 2025.

Thank you for your continued support and don't forget to give us a shout if you need anything electrical undertaken.

New beginnings here at Ramstead Electricians!

Next week we celebrate Ben our now qualified Apprentice going out alone and Max starting back at college after recovering from his Liver Transplant!

I couldn't be happier! Im so very proud of them both. I look forward to them both spreading their wings, taking on new challenges and working hard towards new goals. Here's to hard work, great customer service and good health. Long may it continue!

Oh and a big thanks to all our valued customers. Especially those that don't mind waiting a bit longer than planned if we need to move their job to accommodate someone else.

Hi Everyone longtime no post! It's been a hard year for us all but we're finally seeing the light (excuse the pun). For those that are not aware one of our young people was diagnosed with a rare auto immune liver disease and had to undergo a liver transplant the week before Christmas. So we've not been keeping up much with you lovely people. I'm pleased to say our young person is doing well on the road to recovery and we're back in full swing again work wise. So if you know anyone looking for a reliable, hard working, punctual and fairly priced Electrician be sure to mention us.
