Another consumer unit upgrade completed by the team at MCB Electric following a full property rewire.

The customer originally had a team in to replace just the fuse board, but after more questions we carried out the necessary checks and it quickly became clear that a full rewire was the safest long-term solution. We completed the rewire before installing a new RCBO consumer unit with new meter tails, along with repositioning the board to make the best use of the available space.

At MCB Electric, we don’t just replace fuse boards—we make sure the whole installation is safe, compliant and finished to a high standard.

Hi everyone, I’m Charlie from MCB Electric!

My dad originally established the business in 2017, and after years of experience working across domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installations, we’re proud to be relaunching the family business together.

Between us we have over 20 years’ combined experience, covering everything from full rewires and consumer unit upgrades to EICRs, EV chargers, lighting and fault finding. ⚡ MCB Electric is back ⚡

MCB Electric was originally started by my dad in 2017. We’re now restarting the business and building it properly—through reliable work, good communication and customers who feel confident calling us again.

While the business is newly relaunched, the experience behind it isn’t. I’ve been working in electrics for around 7 years and, between us, we bring over 20 years’ experience across domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work.

From a small job at home to a larger installation, maintenance work, fault finding or a commercial/industrial project, MCB Electric can help. You’ll get a tidy, professional job, clear communication throughout, and work carried out with care.
