Just a little column rad instal at a customers house against their new brick effect wall paper. Had to re use existing pipework through the tiled floor. It was a little tight in squeezing it in between the pipes but it worked ok.

So I posted this in my story yesterday but couldn’t give a lot of detail. The masonic apron you see is that of a Director of ceremonies. The jewel to the right is worn round the neck. The jewels are given out once a year at the provincial grand lodge AGM. There are only 5 of these particular office given out on a yearly basis. There are other offices given out like Provincial SwordBearer, Deacon, Standard Bearer etc.. In total I think there’s about 30 active offices that are given each year. The catch is that you only keep your office for one year so its a huge privilege to be an acting provicial grand officer. I received mine last year and last night was the last active roll I had. So on June the 3rd someone else takes my position. Each year there are approximately 80-100 masons that are either what they say up for promotion or received an appointment. This means they either receive there first provincial apron like I did last year or they have had a provincial apron for several years and they get a new rank going up a grade, keeping the apron but they change the badge on the front. My badge says assistant this denotes that I had an active grand tank for a year. Other masons will receive the same rank as me but won’t necessarily get an active rank. The badge you see says Sussex this means that I’m a mason of the Province of Sussex. From getting this rank hopefully it means it’ll lead onto other important future rolls within masonary. Whilst typing I want to thank Province if Sussex for giving me the rank I received and for giving me the opertunity to fulfill this roll in the last year. Special thanks goes to Maurice Adams, Christopher Moore and John Hornblow for the great evenings an ceremonies we’ve been apart of.
