π« One of our recent clients said their garden had started to feel like a game of whack-a-moleβ¦
Every time they looked out, there seemed to be another hole appearing in the lawn. π³
π When we attended, it was clear there was active rat burrowing in the garden. Rats will often tunnel through soil and under lawns, especially where they feel safe, undisturbed, and have easy access to food, water or shelter nearby π
β‘οΈ This is exactly why a proper survey matters.
Itβs not just about spotting a few holes β itβs about working out:
β’ where the rats are harbouring
β’ what is attracting them
β’ how extensive the activity is
β’ and most importantly, how to stop the issue continuing
π In this case, the garden may have looked a bit like a whack-a-mole boardβ¦ but the solution is a lot more strategic than standing there with a mallet π
βοΈIf your garden is suddenly showing signs of burrows, holes, or rodent activity, itβs best to deal with it early before the problem becomes more establishedβοΈ
