2026 is off to a great start! Here are some before/after photos from a selection of recent jobs.

-Razor sharp hedge cutting topped off with a w**d clearance.
-Renovating a planting bed with gravel and matching lollipop Photinia.
-Removing a 20 year old hedge with roots, overseeded to replace with grass in future.
-Finally a complete revamp of a struggling grass area into a stunning planting bed for a new build sales suite (this was completed working for my day to day employer - proud of my work nonetheless)

Happy Sunday!
I seem to have hit a running theme of tidying overgrown beds and mulching this weekend.

Bark mulch was Installed after clearing the bed & applying w**dkiller on the first job. This will help to slow future w**d growth, also improving the aesthetic.
Next was a reset of a wild planted bed. I removed all unwanted, dug over and created a new edge for the border.
Finishing off was a simple mulch top up job to replace any rotting old mulch.

Here are some photos from a new project started on Wednesday evening. This customer approached us in need of some help to reclaim her garden from going out of control.

I could see a lot of potential here, and after a few late evenings and a lot of TLC, it’s back under control and ready to begin ongoing maintenance every 2 weeks.

I was told by maybe 5 different people that the brambles at the bottom of Bull lane had produced the most amazing blackberries over the years. So I sincerely apologise to anyone I have ruined blackberry picking plans for this year. The wall is due to be repaired and so needed to be exposed.

- Ivy suffocating an Alder and Holly Tree, removing Ivy growth at the base will allow the Ivy to die off without disturbing nesting birds, thus helping the trees to thrive again. Any dead Ivy can be removed after nesting season.
-Privet Hedge required a side reduction to remove overhang and maintain an aesthetically pleasing look for the summer.

PSA - All hedges and trees worked on have been checked prior/ purposely left alone to avoid disrupting nesting birds.
