Logwood Progress Update

🪨Stonework approaching roof level.

⚒️🪵Internal studwork is fully installed, laying out the floorplan.

External walls are battened out and ready for the next phase.

Up next? 1st fix trades are moving in to start wiring and plumbing! ⚡️🚰

* Piling & ring beams completed
* Reduced dig finished & excess spoil removed 🚛

Throwback to this rear open-plan extension we completed last year.

Full structural shell completed.

Structural knock-through with 2x RSJ beams installed to support the rear of the house.

All prepped, leveled, and ready for the kitchen installers to work their magic.

Logwood - Site Progress

Timber Work: Timbers bolted to purlins and joist hangers installed. ✅

Roof Structure: Rafters fully installed. ✅

Guttering: Box gutter detail formed. ✅

Insulation: Roof insulation complete. ✅

Roof Decking: OSB sheeting installed (ready to receive metal roof sheeting) ✅

Masonry: Stonework commenced from the Damp Proof Course (DPC). ✅

Logwood: Internal blockwork from DPC level commenced. Joists drilled and bolted to structural steel beam webs. Posi-Joists and first floor installed. ✅

29/05/2026

Logwood — A complete new-build project incorporating a steel frame from strip foundations through to the roofline. The overall wall build-up is 475mm, consisting of 150mm stonework, 100mm concrete block backing, a 125mm cavity, and 100mm internal blockwork.

This is going to be an impressive house once completed. ✅🏡🧱👷‍♂️
