Winter tyres time. For some reason we get an influx of outside lights and circuit repairs at this time of year. Hopefully, that gets supplemented with inside jobs as well. EICR's and PAT testing and a lot of oven and hob installation at the moment. For interest I have enclosed the following. Occasionally we come across some little gems that are rarely seen. The following is a Hagar Fuseboard design. Behind each of the circuit breaker like cartridges is a fuse that you can flip out and change.

As an Electrician I didn't expect this.
When I agreed to help an Edinburgh Film student from Midlothian (Adam) with a short film, I genuinely thought that it would be a documentary style, talking about what it's like to run a small electrical business.
.......then he sent me a script.

More outdoor work. Thank goodness for fingerless gloves, hats, jackets and garden chairs. Working in the weather right now - No snow thankfully. Clyde has been kicked off site. We are not sure whether we should make it for stealing (nuts for the birds), or for unauthorised tea breaks. Hopefully he will return to work in the near future after he has learned his lesson.

From 26th December 2020 for 3 weeks
New Covid level 4 is in place in Midlothian.
External work and commercial work is still allowed.
Internal work in domestic properties is only allowed for Emergencies.
We are open all through the period except for the 1st of January.
