This old fire has seen some better days, broken fire bed, cracked and missing coals and a very stiff on/off handle. So its coming out.
Quick inspection of the chimney and a clean out of the catchment area and the new one slotted in nicely.
We are getting closer to winter, have you had your boiler or fire serviced yet??

Had enough of the bath, so replaced it with a lovely walk in shower!
