🔨Busy couple of weeks back at the grind with some bespoke wardrobes, flooring installation & sorting out some decking that had originally been incorrectly installed by another company.

Absolutely hate to hear of situations like the above, completely obliterates people’s trust in the trades and makes homeowners understandbly cautious going forward. When someone invites you into their home and trusts you with their hard-earned money & home renovation plans that’s not a responsibility that should be taken lightly.

Just wanted to come on here and say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who’s reached out over the last week. The messages, shares, kind words and offers of help from customers, friends, fellow trades and the wider community have honestly been overwhelming. We’re so grateful and genuinely humbled by all the support shown to us as a family.

What happened was rubbish, but the way people have rallied around us has meant more than we can put into words.

After a stressful week dealing with the admin and fallout, spending the weekend in the snow with William for the first time was a good reminder of what life’s really about. No matter what’s thrown my way, nothing is going to stop me smiling.

Right, no more emotional posts - it’s back to work this week with some exciting projects lined up that I can’t wait to get started on and share with you all!

Not the “Happy New Year” post I wanted to be making!

I was meant to be returning to work today, but instead I’ve spent the morning on the phone to the police and insurance, and now facing the reality of having to outlay thousands of pounds replacing tools - after discovering that a large portion of mine have been STOLEN from my home premises at some point over the festive break.

As most of you know, this is a small, family-run business. It’s just me, my van, and the tools I’ve built up over years of hard graft. Over the past two weeks I’ve been at home enjoying the first Christmas with my baby and supporting my wife following surgery she needed just before Christmas, whilst some scumbag has helped themselves to the tools I rely on to work and provide for my family. Honestly, it’s devastating and makes me sick to my stomach.

I’m not one for a big display of emotions - I just put my head down and work. But January is hard enough without now facing the reality of having to replace thousands of pounds’ worth of tools just to be able to do my job. It’s a massive knock, financially and emotionally.

The police have been informed.
To anyone booked in over the coming days that I have had to reschedule whilst I wait for the new tools and get back on my feet I’m really sorry, thank you for your patience and understanding.

And that’s a wrap for 2025! 🎄

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s supported me & my business over what has been the wildest but most exciting year yet. Every message, recommendation, share and job booked genuinely means a whole lot - not just to me, but to my wee family too.

I’m so thankful for you all as I have really realised this year in particular how lucky I am to be able to do what I love within a business of my own that I can manage around this new family life too - and I wouldn’t be able to do any of that without my all the support you have shown us 👶🏻🖤

Myself & my wife are extremely grateful for you all and are wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes! 🎄🎅🏻
