Scottish weather changes fast, but some things on your roof stay the same for decades 🏠

This is a mushroom cowl, a common vent cap found on many older roofs, and in many cases, it's made with asbestos cement.

Weathered by years of rain and frost, it can wear down over time, and that's when the risk increases.
