Another LONGi & Sigenergy combo completed yesterday ⚡️🔋

We’ve got serious momentum at the moment, with the team consistently delivering top-notch installations. Immensely proud of what we’re building together 🤝

The final stretch until Christmas is on, and we’re aiming for our biggest target yet. Eyes on the bullseye 🎯

33 years old today 🎂

Not many better ways to celebrate than smashing out a 12 panel solar & battery system 🤣⚡️🔋

Another year older, forever learning, and always trying to be better.

Another one in the bag! 💪🏻

☀️ Longniddry Solar & Battery Installation Complete 🔋

Another full Solar PV & Battery Storage system installed by the Knox Power team.

⚡ 16 solar panels — 7.52kWp
🔋 12kWh battery storage
☀️ Sigenergy energy storage system

Our customer’s home is now set up to generate, store and make better use of its own clean energy for many years to come.

Another fantastic installation from the team, with plenty more going in across Scotland over the coming weeks. ⚡️

BIG & SMALL, WE DO THEM ALL. 🔋

From smaller domestic battery upgrades to large-scale energy storage systems, the principle is the same — make better use of the energy you already generate.

Through AC coupling, battery storage can be added alongside an existing Solar PV system, allowing excess solar generation to be captured and stored rather than exported straight back to the grid.

☀️ Generate with your existing solar
🔋 Store excess energy in the battery
⚡ Use it later when demand increases
🌙 Charge off-peak when electricity is cheaper
📉 Reduce reliance on peak-rate grid energy

Already got solar? You don’t necessarily need to replace your existing system to add battery storage.

Whether it’s big or small, we do them all. ⚡🔋

☀️ Solar PV installation at the foot of the Pentland Hills.

Another cracking install from the Knox Power team — in and out in just 2 days, with a full solar and battery system installed and commissioned.

⚡ LONGi 480W solar panels
🔋 Sigenergy 9kWh battery storage
☀️ Sigenergy 6kW hybrid inverter

A tidy install all round and another customer set up to generate, store and make better use of their own energy.

We’ve got a tonne of these coming up over the next few months as demand for solar and battery storage continues to grow.

Great work from the team 👏

☀️ PROJECT OVERVIEW | MORNINGSIDE, EDINBURGH

Flat-roof Solar PV installation in one of Edinburgh’s conservation areas, with Arthur’s Seat providing a pretty impressive backdrop.

With a location like this, keeping the system discreet was a key part of the design. The array has been positioned to minimise its visual impact while making the most of the available roof space and solar generation potential.

A great example of how Solar PV can be incorporated sympathetically into properties across Edinburgh’s more sensitive and historic areas. ⚡️☀️

Why pay peak rates when you can store cheaper electricity overnight? ⚡️🔋

☀️ 5.76kWp Solar PV
⚡️ Sigenergy 6kW inverter
🔋 6kWh battery storage

This system will make use of off-peak charging, topping the battery up with cheaper electricity overnight when required, then using that stored energy alongside solar generation throughout the day.

A great way to get more from your solar and reduce reliance on expensive peak-rate electricity.

We’ve got a load of these coming up! 👀⚡️
