Got the call to come in and work on this statement gable.

Whinstone’s a tough old rock to play with, but we got stuck in and have it looking tip-top!

Didn’t expect the scaffold to be down when I popped by, but what a great surprise to see it all revealed 🤩

We’ve been a bit quiet on here lately… but busy on the tools instead!

Here’s a look at a rubble wall we recently built for our lovely clients. They wanted a little extra privacy in their front garden, so we built this up to their chosen height.

Full repoint in a selected lime mortar as always! ✅

Here’s a gable completed for a returning client a few weeks back.

- full rake out of cement to all beds and joints and repointed correctly with lime mortar. ✅

- Old cement mortar separated from the skews & slates cut out and redone ✅

Not the best before shot I got but the final snap more than makes up for it 📸 🤩

Here we have an insurance job completed by the team. The wall had taken quite a big knock which has brought us in to build this back up to the original height!

An unsafe wall here well on its way to tipping over was carefully stripped down and stacked to the side ready to be built straight back up to original height. 🫣

Removing the rubble and using the window cill there we’ve cut to size & dress two new stones out of it and have it slotted it in perfectly ready for the door to be fitted in.

Lovely wee job we had here with our good friends Pro Cut Joinery & Building Ltd

Looking forward to seeing their end product with a new patio put in!🤩
