January has been a really strong month for P. Blackhall Ltd across all our services. 💪

We’ve been busy supporting customers throughout Edinburgh with:

Sometimes the job isn’t the repair — it’s finding the parts. 🔍🔧

We’ve just tracked down a full new set of cartridges for a client’s Burlington taps.
Not easy to find.
Not cheap either.
But we found them — and the client is happy.

We’ve been a bit quieter on social so far this year, but rest assured:
we’re still here, still working hard, and still keeping our clients happy, warm, and looked after across Edinburgh.

That’s what we’ve always done.

📢 Important Update from P Blackhall Ltd

As we approach our annual Christmas shutdown, we have now stopped accepting new jobs ahead of our closure next Friday.

Our team is fully booked with existing commitments, emergency works, and pre-Christmas preparations. To ensure we deliver on the work already scheduled — and maintain the high standards expected of us — we are unable to take on any further new enquiries until we reopen in January.

Yesterday I ran a half trail marathon in the Pentland Hills — with my wife and business partner. 🏔️

Before this, the furthest I’d ever really run was 10K (with a few hills), and we’ve never trained together. With young kids, running has always been something we do separately, grabbing whatever time we can.

Going into it, I wasn’t sure how it would go. My wife is the stronger runner, and I assumed she’d take off ahead while I paced myself.

But she didn’t.
She stayed with me.
And we ran 90% of it together.

What I learned yesterday had nothing to do with miles, hills, or finish times.

It reminded me that:

✔️ Support makes the hard things easier
✔️ Shared challenges strengthen partnerships
✔️ Sometimes it’s not about speed — it’s about doing it together

A great day, a tough course, and a brilliant reminder of why we make a good team — in business and in life.

Today? I can’t walk. 😅
