We’re very proud to share this project and an exclusive feature published by Homes & Interiors Scotland.
Once divided into bedsits, this four-storey Georgian townhouse has undergone a comprehensive renovation to create a practical and welcoming family home. The layout, comfort and performance were transformed while the building’s original character, from its ornate cornicing and fireplaces to its masonry and timberwork, was carefully retained and restored.
At the heart of the project was the owners' wish to create an enduring family home: "We wanted to create a space where everyone can always come home."
The result brings renewed purpose to every level of the house, including guest accommodation in the extensively reworked basement, alongside significant improvements to heating, insulation, services and protection from damp and water ingress.
Thank you to BLOCK NINE Architects for their collaboration, ZAC and ZAC for the beautiful photography and Homes & Interiors Scotland for telling the story so thoughtfully.
We’d also like to thank Meraki Concept Studio for bringing this project to life on our website and for their continued support in developing a richer, more useful online home for BANN.
