An attempted cylinder snap break in last night in Orchard Brae Gardens. Fortunately a locked inner door and being interrupted thwarted the attempt. I have now fitted a British standard anti snap cylinder and new handles. Incident reported to police so don’t expect much response there.

At a time when burglaries are on the rise and Covid restrictions are openly flouted, its assuring the Lothian and Borders Police have their finger on the pulse. Forget the THREE hooded youths riding an obliviously stolen motorcycle along Ferry road in broad daylight yesterday. No, the taxpayers money is better spent prosecuting electric scooter riders and half heartily enforcing the 20mph limit. You couldnt make this stuff up!
