It’s been all diggers & framing the last few months so good to take a trip down memory lane and finally upload the finished items at Currie.
Herringbone flooring, aluminium sliders and plenty of our clients input made Currie a dream to be involved in.
All the usual boys involved and the result speaks for itself!

Swipe to undress the house/ swipe to remove walls and all that insta lingo for this one 😉
An absolute tonne of work went into this space, the area was fully rewired, replumbed with new heating & hot water system, walls removed, steel in, floors sanded to name but a few 😅
A tight deadline just made things that little bit more interesting for when the inevitable hiccups occurred 😂
There’s always going to be issues with stripping projects this size but finding the solution is the fun part 💪🏼
Another belter to be involved with and another top job from all the squad involved, different class from the Nicholson boys right through to subbies supplied by the client (rarely does that go to plan 🤣).

Plenty unforeseen items to make the deadline even trickier but it’s all just par for the course on builds this size 🤩

Gillespie was an absolute dream to be involved with, even though we encountered a load of unexpected items these were all dealt with superbly by the boys and clients.
Jobs never go perfectly smooth but this was a great reminder when the team (clients and Nicholson boys) are all pushing towards that crisp finish then time spent ironing out the kinks are totally worth it 👌🏼
It took well over 30 acros, 14 needles, countless trips up & down stairs, meters upon meters of pipe & cables but most importantly a tonne of communication put this one up there with one my favourites.

The property was rewired, replumbed and reconfigured to allow new kitchen/ dining, bathroom, flooring and general overhaul.

Different class from the usual suspects, another top job 😎😍

Ready for render and over to those boys to complete our externals before we can get onto decking/ steps and down pipes for our guttering 👌🏼

Kitchen arrived on Friday and flooring starts next week internally, along with decoration being well underway…..final leg is well and truly here 😎😍

Simple but effective dormering here 🛖

Blend in or stand out?
Modern or traditional are a couple of questions when it comes to dormers, this one ticks the blend in just nicely, no over the top pvc round the lid to hide insulation build up or 3/4 materials to do so.
Tiled cheeks and alwitra flat roof keeps it simple at Silverknowes.

There just isn’t an angle I don’t enjoy looking at these dormers 🖤No fancy captions, no waffling comments just well done...
