ᴄᴏᴄᴏ ʜᴏᴡ ᴅᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ʀᴇꜰʟᴇᴄᴛ ᴏɴ ꜱᴀᴛᴜʀᴅᴀʏ’ꜱ 2-1 ᴡɪɴ ᴏᴠᴇʀ ᴡʜɪᴛᴇʜɪʟʟ ᴡᴇʟꜰᴀʀᴇ ?
I thought we played well on Saturday again, especially the first half and we probably should’ve been out of sight. But we weren’t as ruthless as we have been in recent weeks, maybe that was down to a wee bit hard luck, as we did hit the woodwork three times. Second half I don’t think we managed the game particularly well especially the last 15 minutes and allowed them to grow into the game and made it a wee bit nervier than it should’ve been. But credit to Whitehill who kept going to end and never made it easy for us as we knew they wouldn’t. But it’s another win and another three points and that’s the most important thing.

Calum’s been great so far. I think we’re seeing the benefits of a full pre-season and an injury free Calum Heath. He had a bit of a stop start season last season as he came to us during season, he was also playing with a couple niggles that no one knew about. I’m glad he’s getting his rewards. He’s a great lad with a great attitude and he can also be hard on himself at times. But everyone within the club knows how good a player he is, hopefully he can keep his form up. As fit and firing Calum Heath will play a massive part on where we want to be come end of season, he’s a big player for us.

I think Preston will be right up there come end of season. They’re a good side with a good experienced manager and good players who have played at a higher level. They’re on a good run of form but so are we, so that should set it up for a cracker, hopefully you’ll see two good teams going at it and we can do enough to win the game.
