Edinburgh Zoo 📍
What do chimpanzees and our team have in common? We both know how to make the most of a rope, although we wish we could fly through a rope to rope transfer or through a deviation with such ease! Having said that…… the chimps might not be fully understanding of the ICOP just yet!
Recently, we had another opportunity to work at Edinburgh Zoo, after the success on phase 1 of the works replacing the baskets within the enclosure, this time we carried out phase 2 of the works replacing the ropes.
Why rope access?
🐵It’s the quickest, most efficient way to work in tricky environments like this.
🙈Rope access keeps our footprint light, ensuring we left the enclosure just as we found it, but with some brand-new ropes.
🙉The chimps didn’t have to wait long to get back to swinging! Our rope access techniques allowed us to complete the job quickly and accurately, minimizing disruption to their daily routine, although some approved, others did not! (See photos!)
🙊It is always exciting to work alongside nature’s best climbers, seeing these intelligent creatures up close and knowing that our work contributes to their wellbeing!
Whether it’s an industrial site or an animal enclosure, we tackle every job with the same level of skill, safety, and a touch of adventure!
So next time you’re at the Zoo, take a look up at those ropes – and remember, we’ve got you covered from all angles.
