Little bespoke window seat cabinet made,
Typically the howdens designer made a balls up on the design, so i proposed this idea to utilise every bit of useable space, thankfully the customer loves it & its gained a lot of interest from other people in the village apparently.
Thats the difference with using guys that care & have the desire & tact to make the unworkable, actually workable.
Think about that the next time you employ someone to work in your home.

howdens allendale “porcelain” kitchen with limestone laminate worktops & backboards completed in broughton, Scottish borders for a local plumbing company.
a lot of work in such a small space, nothing level, plumb square in these century old farmhouses.
But as ever, i rise to the challenge.
Delighted client & builder as always.

* client decided against cornice & wanted the L/H wall unit height set lower *

One from last month, lounge renovation in Edinburgh for lovely repeat customers ,
Typically iv no before pictures,
But this was stripped right back,
Old fireplace stripped out & built up
Fully replastered,
New sub floor & laminate,
new doors, frames, architraves & skirtings,
New bespoke storage unit manufactured & fitted in the old edinburgh press.
Existing socket upgraded to usb & new centre light installed
New upvc window

plastering - Adrian Podkowa (ap plastering & rendering)
Electrical - R.Lumsden Electrical
Window from The Window Supply Company
Flooring & doors -
timber from MGM Timber Ltd

little repair job earlier this week for repeat customers in pencaitland, They are potentially selling the house & didnt want the expense of replacing the whole lot, So me being the mentally unstable, glutton for punishment , i suggested doing localised repairs, really wasn’t sure how it would go, but its only timber after all, whats the worst that can happen 😅 anyway, have a look through the pictures , its a kind of step by step process , I have to say i think it turned out bloody well . sometimes i still surprise myself…
No fancy machinery involved, just a man with a can do attitude, a van & some tools.

Nice little job completed earlier this week for repeat customer in gullane,
The brief was to add some much needed handrail type arrangement to assist with the steps.

Heres what i came up with, all the timber was machined up from hand, nothing off the shelf, even the handrail profile is my own design ,
Stainless steel ironmongery & fixings as standard.
Ready for there decorator to apply the demidek exterior finish.

I do like these little bespoke jobs that really do make a difference.
