Gorebridge-Midlothian.

Lots of brick on edge was vandalised by teenagers from the top of the driveway wall to the bottom including 1 pillar nearly knocked over and the other with alot of cracked/failed mortar in need ov a rake out and repoint.

All loose/spalling brickwork taken off and re laid.

Raking out and repointing done in selective areas.

Replacement of bricks that were too far weak to be re used.

The existing bricks that were used before were discontinued 12 years ago. We Tryed our best to get a half decent match. It should weather back alot with the great rain etc that we get and shouldn't stand out as much 🤣

Roslin Glen midlothian.

Client wanted the toilet,shower and sink out,
Wet wall and tiles stripped back, and an access through to the other part of cottage to be able to get to there office space.

The rest will be stripped back and re-sheeted to create a nice light open hallway space by the clients themselves!

Ongoing projects are the best ones.

Client happy with the time we took and how tidy we left the job when we had completed.

Client wanted vent /ducting cleaned a bit and old vent replaced.

* new vent connected to ducting o ring.

*finished with a clear external mastic so it stays weather tight.

Client having issues with local delivery driver who feels the need to slam shut there metal garden gate attached to a free standing 2 brick pillar..

After some years and due to weathering etc, unless tied into another wall or the likes then this pillar won't withstand much strength even more so when people slam the gate!

Client very happy with the outcome of works that have been carried out here to help strengthen the pillar ready for another delivery driver to come along and hopefully not damage it! 😅

*Re-built with new brick making sure every brick and joint was fully packed and pointed to perfection.

*Rod/rebar in center drilled to ground to help reinforce it.

*Existing pillar peir cap cleaned off and re built to blend in with the other walls.

Another lovely client.
Newtongrange. Midlothian.

Client wanted just the top corse of bricks (header corse) re pointed due to weather damage and spalling of brick faces.

A dozen bricks we're replaced and a few new specials too all rebuilt and pointed up and brushed to a smooth round key finish.

Even if you need a wall etc fixed up so it can last a while longer then we're here to help!
