Dem-Master Demolition is delighted to be working for our client, BAM Construction, as part of the Kirkcaldy Town Centre regeneration works.

We are currently progressing with the demolition of Esplanade Car Park, following the successful demolition of the adjacent Thistle Street Car Park.

Works have been carefully planned and delivered in line with approved RAMS and engineered sequences, with a strong focus on safety, structural stability, environmental control, and interface with adjacent retained structures.

Demolition operations at the Esplanade Car Park are currently being carried out using our Komatsu PC490 HRD, fitted with integrated high-reach water mist cannons to suppress dust at source and minimise environmental impact.

A complex, tightly sequenced project delivered by our experienced team, demonstrating the importance of planning, coordination, selecting the correct personnel, plant, and methodology for the works.

🎄 Merry Christmas from everyone at Dem-Master Demolition 🎄

As the year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a busy, challenging and incredibly rewarding year for Dem-Master Demolition.

We are extremely proud of the projects we’ve delivered across the UK; working safely, responsibly and collaboratively with our clients, partners and local communities. From complex demolition schemes to regeneration-led projects, our teams have continued to demonstrate professionalism, technical expertise and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way.

This year has also seen some fantastic milestones for the business, including being shortlisted for a World Demolition Award, which gave us the opportunity to travel to Nashville and represent Dem-Master on an international stage. Being recognised alongside leading demolition contractors from around the world was a real honour and a testament to the quality of work delivered by our team.

Alongside this, we have:
✨Continued to invest in our people, supporting training, development and wellbeing
✨Invested in modern plant and equipment, improving safety, efficiency and environmental performance
✨Strengthened long-term relationships with clients, supply chain partners and local communities
✨Delivered meaningful community benefits and social value across our projects

None of this would be possible without the hard work, commitment and pride shown by our workforce every single day - both on site and behind the scenes. You are the foundation of Dem-Master’s continued success.

Thank you to our clients, partners and communities for your trust and support throughout the year.

We now look forward to a well-earned break and an exciting year ahead.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and successful New Year 🎅✨

Great views from above at Jackson Court, Coatbridge!

Dem-Master Demolition is currently deconstructing the South Tower of the Block.

Our remote-controlled Brokk Demolition Robot is breaking out floors and walls. The materials are then carefully sorted by our smaller plant. We have dust suppression in place, dampening materials to minimise environmental impact.

The team are loading the arisings into a crane-tipping skip, which is then lowered to ground level for recycling. Clear communication and teamwork are crucial here to ensure this process runs safely and smoothly.

In the coming months, we'll be mobilising our Ultra-High-Reach Demolition Rig to begin the mechanical demolition of the remaining structure.

Health, Safety, and the Environment are always at the heart of what we do.

Sunday was a big day for us! We successfully completed the controlled explosive demolition of 305 & 341 Caledonia Road in Glasgow. This was a complex project that took months of planning, coordination, and teamwork, and it went exactly as we hoped, thanks to the hard work and expertise of our entire team and contractors.

The whole operation, from the precise preparation and ex*****on of the blast to the careful evacuation of local residents (850 properties), went off without a hitch. It was incredibly satisfying to see both buildings come down exactly as planned, a direct result of the extensive groundwork laid by everyone at Dem-Master Demolition and our specialist controlled explosives subcontractor, Safedem

A key achievement we're particularly proud of is the protection of the TASK Nursery, located just nine meters away from the demolition site. We worked closely with the nursery from the very beginning, keeping them informed every step of the way. This really shows our commitment to safety, precision, and working together with the community, even on the toughest projects. We're incredibly proud of the teamwork and the flawless ex*****on that ensured minimal disruption and maximum safety for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to all our partners, local authorities, and the residents of the Gorbals for their cooperation and understanding throughout this process.

We also want to extend our sincere thanks to our client, New Gorbals Housing Association, for their trust and collaboration.

The Dem-Master Demolition team had a productive Saturday morning at Trinity Academy, Edinburgh.

Our Komatsu PC 490 High Reach Demolition excavator carefully demolished the concrete staircase, successfully creating a clear separation between blocks A and B.

With Block A being a listed building, precision was key to ensuring no damage to the existing structure.

Powerful machine, precise work.
