Ever wondered why a commercial electrical firm still does the small domestic jobs?

Simple: it's where we came from.

Every big project we deliver today is built on years of the small stuff, swapping fittings, adding sockets, chasing down faults in people's homes. That's where real skill is learned, and the fundamentals are the same whether it's one socket or a whole development.

It's also how our apprentices get proper hands-on experience before stepping onto commercial sites. So to everyone who's trusted us with the "little" jobs over the years, thank you. They're not little to us, they built Green View. ⚡

Another EV charger install done and dusted, fully compliant with the ENA application completed. ⚡🚗

Did you know? If your business is registered at your home address, you could be eligible for a ÂŁ500 Workplace Charging Scheme grant for each socket fitted. Lots of people don't realise they qualify. Check your eligibility here: https://www.find-government-grants.service.gov.uk/grants/workplace-charging-scheme-2

Thinking about an EV charger in West Yorkshire? Drop us a message and we'll sort the rest.

I hear the same handful of myths on new build projects, and each one quietly costs developers money.

Solar can't just "go on later" without a supply upgrade. Not every electrician is set up for the programme, compliance and renewables a new build demands.

EV provision isn't optional. And the cheapest quote rarely turns out to be the best value.

Worth knowing before you spec your next scheme.

Ever wondered what actually goes into a day on a new build site?

From the early start and site briefing to first fix, trade coordination, testing and leaving the plot spotless, it's a lot of small things done well that add up to a compliant, quality installation.

This is the work behind the finished home.

Celebrating our apprentices. 👏

They bring fresh energy, ask the best questions and make Green View Projects better every single day.

As a new college year begins, we just want to say how much we value them, and how important apprenticeships are to our whole industry. The future of the trade is in good hands.

New builds come with real challenges, and we love them for it. ⚡

Coordinating with other trades, keeping multi-plot sites on programme, and designing solar, battery and EV into a build from scratch, all while meeting tightening regulations.

The secret? Planning early and communicating well. That's how we keep every new build electrical and renewable installation on track across West Yorkshire.

Fire safety is one thing we'll never rush on a new build.

Interlinked smoke and heat alarms, installed to BS 5839-6 and wired in from first fix, give a home the earliest possible warning, when one sounds, they all sound.

We take it seriously because it's not about ticking a box, it's about protecting the people who'll call it home. Every alarm sited right, every circuit tested, every install certified.

People often ask how a new build electrical installation actually comes together, so here's the whole journey: design, first fix, second fix, testing and certification, handover.

Each stage depends on the one before, which is exactly why planning and sequencing matter so much on a development. Save it, share it with your project team, and you'll always know what should be happening and when.
