It's not a regulation to have an extractor fan in a retrofit bathroom (It is in a new build), but it can make so much difference to the amount of moisture in the room after bathing or showering. If you don't have an external wall, consider an extractor fan vented through the loft space to an external vent. Done correctly this can be just as effective
