Elwood Forest Carpentry In 2023, at the age of 9 I decided to turn my carpentry hobby into a little business. My Nan helped teach me, we struggled a little, but had fun doing it.

In 2022 at the age of 8 years old I became interested in woodwork and made a table, plant pot, a bed for my teddy! When I was 9 in 2023 my Nan got me some one-on-one lessons with Ned at Ned's Shed (at The British Ironworks Centre in Oswestry). This is where I made my first birdbox. In 2023 I entered a national competition to win some funds for my business. I didn't win but I was one of the 25 fina

lists out of 15,000! I was so made-up! Since then I realised that I really enjoy making things for other people. So that's when Elwood Forest Carpentry was born! My first name is Oliver which means "Olive Tree", and my middle name is Elwood which means "from the old forest". So my name is "Olive tree from the old forest". Please feel free to call me Ollie though :-)
