🌿 Here's my lawn, photo taken today. Why is it still green?
💧 I deep water once a week, for 1 hour with the sprinkler. It's much more efficient and beneficial to do a heavy watering once a week, rather than little and often.
✔️ There is no hosepipe ban here, reservoir levels for our region are above average according to united utilities
👉 However we should still be mindful of how we use it, to be more efficient, water early morning, not mid day or evening. Evening watering causes humidity which leads to fungal diseases in the grass plant, a waste of water and it then requires treatment to fix.
🌿 I have also used a grass seed mix that can handle these conditions. I can sow this seed into your lawn too during an autumn renovation, to prepare your lawn for future stress periods.
