Today’s Job: Gas Fire Removal & Pipe Capping 🔧🔥

While capping off a gas fire today, the customer made a shocking discovery…

The company that previously removed the chimney had filled the wall cavities with bricks – directly on top of an 8mm gas pipe. 😳

Not only is this poor workmanship, it’s also extremely dangerous. If you’re having work done around your gas appliances or pipework, always make sure it’s carried out by a qualified professional.
