I dont take on as many bathrooms as I used to due to taking on more central heating and boiler work but I'm over the moon with how this one turned out.

🔥💧The greenstar 1000 combi boiler going in for a customer after a suspected PCB fault with the 20 odd year old existing boiler made it an easy decision for them to swap it for a new boiler with a 5 year manufacturers guarantee.

Back boiler converted to a combi boiler 🔥🔥🔥

This one was very hard work but really enjoyed this job and very pleased with how it all went despite a few setbacks that can sometimes be expected when working on a system as old as this.

✅️ Disconnect and remove gas fire

✅️ Drain down, disconnect, and remove back boiler and fortic primatic cylinder - not very often you see these systems now!

✅️ Supply and fit new greenstar 4000 combi boiler with a 10 year manufacturers guarantee

✅️ Supply and fit worcesters approved filter

✅️ Supply and fit mini shock arrestor as per worcesters guidelines

✅️ Supply and fit CP4i wireless programmable thermostat linked to the app on the customers phone to control remotely

✅️ Full new gas run from the gas meter to bypass the substantial gas leak found on original pipework under the floor

✅️ System pipework and radiators fully flushed and cleaned with the magancleanse powerflushing system - the most sludged up system I have ever come across!!

✅️ All pipework in the loft space insulated to prevent freezing and bursting pipes - with the exception of the gas pipework as that wont freeze unless we have another ice age!

✅️ Leaks sprung up on a bathroom sink tap connection and a radiator valve due to the increase in pressure that a combi boiler provides - these where repaired on the day

✅️ New boiler fully commisioned and registered for the 10 year guarantee and all paperwork completed including gas safe/building regs certificate

Fitted the CP3 wireless thermostat on this job, which is the perfect thermostat for an elderly customer, very simple to use! On/off and room temperature control via the dial. Can't go wrong.
