Looking back to 5 years ago when it all began. A rough field of grass and tangled hedge. A clean slate where ideas could be nurtured, tested and plans could be made. The hard work began in ernest spurred on by hope that I could make a small difference to the landscape that would benefit nature and offer the community an alternative to flown in, chemical laden, flowers with a huge carbon footprint.
Five years on I can now really see how things have changed, it has been a huge effort for 1 woman, no machinery, no money, just ideas and love of growing. I'll share some thoughts with you over the next year as we roll through another season. Come on spring, we've done with winter now 🌞🌄🌱

Eggs stumbled upon amongst the hellebores in the field this morning.. I made a sharp exit incase mother is watching. Are they pheasant or ducks? I've had both birds nesting in the flower beds before 😳 🤔🐣
