Another brickwork project completed last week!

A customer contacted us to see if we could restore the brickwork on their garage after an extension had been built. The existing brickwork was in a very poor condition and needed extensive repairs.

We carefully cut out all of the damaged mortar and fully repointed the affected areas. We also repaired the badly built corner of the garage, blending it back in so it looks as though it has always been part of the original building.

This was a challenging job, as we had to source specific closest possible colour match, but we’re delighted with the finished result.

Another beautiful window transformation completed this week.

We removed the existing window and replaced it with a set of fully opening doors, creating easy access to this beautiful garden and bringing in so much more natural light.

Another repointing and brick restoration project completed this week! 👌🧱

This garage had previously been altered during an extension, and we were asked to restore the corner back to its original appearance. We’re delighted with the finished result, bringing the brickwork back to a clean, traditional finish that blends in beautifully.

It’s always rewarding to restore brickwork and give it a new lease of life while maintaining its original character.

A beautiful repointing project completed a few weeks ago. 🧱

Every joint was carefully raked out using a dust extraction system to keep dust to a minimum before the brickwork was thoroughly washed down. The property was then traditionally repointed using high-quality heritage lime mortar, before being finished with a neat brushed finish to enhance the character of the brickwork.

Following pointing, the brickwork was then treated with Stormdry, providing a long-lasting protective barrier against the elements for years to come.

We recently completed a small brickwork repointing project in Fleet.

The existing mortar joints had been poorly pointed in the past, which was causing ongoing damp problems and trapping a significant amount of moisture within the wall.

What We Did: ✅
🧱Carefully raked out the defective mortar joints

🧱 Repointed the brickwork using NHL 3.5 lime mortar, allowing the building to breathe properly

🧱Replaced a couple of standard bricks with air bricks to improve ventilation

🧱Cleaned down and finished all brickwork for a tidy, traditional appearance

By using breathable lime mortar instead of hard cement, moisture can now escape naturally, helping to prevent future damp issues and protecting the integrity of the brickwork.
