The crystal floor tile was a vision I had 2 years ago when I was working in some of England's finest homes, I was looking for an alternative way to light a room other than from table lights and chandeliers , the problems I had 20 years ago was that the technology with glass and crystal didn't exist and neither did LED lighting, which meant that lighting the glass was almost impossible to work wit

h in a design context because of the green hue. The glass now available to use has changed there are new processes, also the glues used for bonding were crude and only had a bonding life of 5 to 6 years in a constant temperature! Now with the invention of new types of glues means these problems are solved ! With LED lighting the true beauty of lead crystal can be exaggerated and encapsulated.
