Stonebuilding is no easy Job ,full respect to all other stoneworkers out there!! you do your best with very hard graft and sweat to always do the best work you can , post your work for others to appreciate , for the ones who cant say anything but a negative comment to try pull you down and lift themselves up ,i deal with that by hitting the delete simple as.
Freedom of speech and opinion is everyones right but it shouldn't bypass being respectful to others in what is a hard enough job as it is.

That's one bay completed on this house , just 2 more gables along with the porch gable . Definitely slow going this one ...

This stone will need a good clean when all the works are finished ,with no roof on yet and such a wet Jan and Feb has caused some green on the stone.

Its been a while since I posted anything, this is the porch section with a nice free standing arch door im working on with reclaimed sandstone, there's 3 other sections on this new build also upto gable height, looking good so far , its not often I catch up with the block layers lol but they have been waiting on slabs so they can finish Gables, theres a bit to go yet but it will be a fine house when completed .

I am currently back with a previous client who I built this fireplace for back early in the summertime , the lime pointing can really lighten the appearance and tie in more with the colours in the stone .
The stone used was blue centred sandstone with a mix of two other colours , which was supplied by #
