Hi everyone... this is a job I did this time last year.... only now getting to share...a very wet site raised using old railway sleepers and the additional extensive drainage scheme would improve it's draining..the MC monagle yellow limestone paving with the complimentary kerbs and gravel will give that warm effect... simple..clean lines ...warm colouration... and the additional lighting too..

Raised planters with damp proof membrane to keep soil away from the sleepers... veg planters and potentially a raspberry cane planter ... with two ,..three section compost bins to reinvigorate for future planting ...you simply have to invest in the soil what you have grown in the past....

Tired lawn,weeds and moss thriving perhaps?!...
OVERSEED... simple....it's a very cost...effective way to revitalise and put new life into that drab green sward.. herbicide, seed 🌱to soil contact and compost to cover...ohh and over to mother nature 🌈for the rest..... taking bookings for spring 26 ...may squeeze in a couple before mid October... weather dependent.......

After initial drainage works and site preparation....the business started today... paving arrived.. and the kitchen garden access path underway.. using tobermore Shannon duo paving in the warm bracken colour.... and boy was it warm today!!....

Absolutely perfect conditions for planting trees , carpinus fastigiate rootball, and bare root betula ,alnus and acer species .. hornbeam,birch,alder and Norway maple...along with specimen prunus rotundifolia .. cherry laurel ......to create and replace a castlewellan hedge screen...........so much better!! Always go deciduous 🌳 native trees with a hint of evergreen laurel...loved this job.... keep planting!!

A first cut July 2024 given to a rear lawn site with extensive drainage works carried out January past , weather settled ,frost in morning,soil conditions good for early new year...with construction of a straight forward paved area using Tobermore riven flags highlighted with a golden tegula brick to compliment the existing property..a brick path curved provided interest and continuity to give access to the shed ..all in all a total rear garden transformation..

A low maintenance planting scheme at Drumcoo day care centre, Enniskillen.... using Tobermore garden stone wall blocks,slate and a matching coping.. gravel beds softened with a mixture of shrubs and herbaceous plants, and edged with a border brick to give definition between border and grass .... very simple but this type of design could be used elsewhere, school frontage,guest house, hotel,even office space.... great fun doing this as clients left everything to me !..
