Service your boiler annually to protect your warranty
Many boiler services have been missed this year, but I expect many boiler manufacturers will be kind about it if your boiler stops working, but I would not put money on it, especially if a major part needs replacing

This is a good time to get a power flush, clean your central heating system before it needs to work hard again.if it has not been cleaned since the origional installation of more than six years a system clean could extend the life of your boiler and it will also run more easily saving strain on the pump and more importantly perhaps electricy demand
