Planning has now been submitted for this new-build family home in Oxted. The contemporary design combines traditional gabled forms with modern detailing, creating a distinctive yet contextually sensitive addition to its setting.

We look forward to progressing the project through the planning process.

A contemporary take on the Croydon bay-fronted terrace.

This proposal for ground and first floor flats uses articulated bay windows to establish a rhythm that responds to the existing street context, while introducing a softer material palette and subtle Art Deco detailing.

Low, quiet architecture — but technically anything but simple.

This view reveals the real challenge: tying complex waterproofing details into a sunken structure, while keeping the junctions clean and robust. Standing-seam zinc wraps the roof and upper volume, paired with vertical timber cladding below to soften the elevation and sit comfortably within the park setting.

Careful detailing, coordination and craftsmanship throughout — the kind of project where the success lives in the junctions.

Sunken into the landscape to keep a low profile 🌿

This new build in Surbiton, tucked into the former grounds of a dilapidated gatekeepers cottage within a public park, is all about restraint and respect for its setting. By lowering the building into the ground, we’ve kept the overall height down while opening the rear fully to light, views and the garden beyond.

Huge credit to the clients who bought into the vision early and pushed hard to see it realised — always the difference between a good idea and a built one.

A modern addition, rooted in the original.

This new single-storey side extension has been carefully designed to harmonise with the existing house, drawing on its material palette and familiar forms, while offering a clean, contemporary interpretation through refined detailing and generous glazing.

A calm, light-filled space that feels both connected and distinctly new.
