Where most wardrobes would meet the ceiling at a hard right angle, this one follows the natural line of the room and sweeps gently around instead.

It's a small detail, but it's the difference between furniture that looks fitted and furniture that looks built in.

Inside, warm oak shelving with space for fabric storage boxes, plus open hanging either side. Practical where it needs to be, considered everywhere else.

No two shelves the same size, and that's exactly the point.

This home office wall combines an asymmetric, gallery-style shelving unit with a full-width walnut desk below.

Shelving spaces designed hold everything from box files to ornaments without a single wasted gap.

Plenty of leg-room for a computer station workspace with integrated sockets, cupboards and drawers.

A full circle of storage, and not one wasted corner.

This dressing room wraps almost the whole way round the room. Two sets of double wardrobes finished in Farrow & Ball Pigeon, with antique brass handles and sensor-activated lighting that switches on and off as each door opens and closes.

Inside, a pull-down rail brings high hanging space to chest height. One narrow, awkwardly angled wall was turned into sloped shelving for shoes, with wider shelves above for handbags, and shallower shelving for folded linens and jumpers.

Even the odd corners got the bespoke treatment, softened with rounded display units for photos and keepsakes.

Five days, one exceptional team, and a room built around exactly how our client gets dressed every morning.

An old kitchen alcove, reimagined as storage for a creative space.

This built-in unit sits where an AGA used to be, in what's now the client's art room. Behind the soft-close doors on one side is simple shelving. On the other, a pull-out drawer and slim internal racks sized specifically for art frames and art books.

The green is a Farrow & Ball shade, paired with a cemento texture inside for a bit of contrast. Reinforced tops throughout to take the weight of all the books and art supplies that live here.

Old space, new purpose, built to fit exactly.

That awkward sloped ceiling wasn't wasted. It became the whole design.

This fitted wardrobe was built to follow the pitch of the roof exactly, with shelving stepping down in height to match the angle overhead. No wasted corners, no boxy units fighting the slope.

Open the doors and there's a full hanging rail with a pull-down rail above it for higher storage, plus graduated shoe shelving that follows the same line as the ceiling. Fabric boxes slot neatly onto the shelves making full use of the shelf depth, allowing for two rows of clothing (front and back). Just whip the box off the shelf, sort through your clothing and pop the box back in place.

Built around the room. Not the other way round.
