Cracked basin? That might be putting it mildly. 😅

Cracks across the sides, around the edges and through the bowl. This thing was doing a better job at holding itself together than the UK. 😂

Replacement would have been the obvious answer.
But where’s the fun in that?

The cracks were repaired, the damaged areas properly prepared and then colour matched to the existing basin to blend everything back in.

Cracks: Everywhere. 😬

After: Slight improvement. 😏

Same basin. No ripping it out. No replacement. Just a few less cracks in the world. 👌

A full respray can make one hell of a difference. 👀

This static caravan was looking seriously tired, but the panels themselves were still perfectly good.

So instead of replacing perfectly usable panels just because they'd seen better days, we gave the whole exterior a new lease of life.
Prepped, masked, resprayed and looking like a completely different caravan. 👌

Before: Retirement overdue.
Replacement panels: ££££
Respray: Cheaper than a midlife crisis. 😂
After: Retirement just got extended. 😅

Same caravan. Same panels. Looks brand new.

If your caravan is showing its age, don't start replacing things just yet. A respray might be all it needs.

Sometimes, to fix it… you have to make it look considerably worse first. 😅

This shallow bath was badly cracked, allowing water to get underneath and causing sections of the surface to lift.

The damaged areas had to be cut out properly so we could remove the compromised material, rebuild the sections and restore the surface — rather than simply covering up the problem and hoping for the best.

The result? See for yourselves. 👀

A new bath: Unnecessary. A repair? Totally. 👌
Evidence: Even Sherlock would struggle to find it. 🔎😂

Soo close to a finished bathroom… 😅

Everything’s fitted, everything’s looking good, then one of those “quick last jobs” leaves two holes exactly where they shouldn’t be. 👀

Small mistake. Very noticeable eyesore on a brand-new shower panel.

Replacing it would mean taking fittings and the shower screen back out, with the added risk of damaging other perfectly good surfaces.

All that for two holes? No thanks.

A few hours later, repaired, colour matched and restored.

Replacement shower panel: ££££
Bathroom demolition: Unnecessary. 😅
Risk to other surfaces: Best left untested.
Two annoying holes: What two annoying holes?! 👀

Landlord: “We need a new worktop.”

Me: 😱😬 “Wait, Hold my coffee.” ☕

This worktop was in student accommodation and only a year old when it cracked right next to the sink. Bit early for retirement, really.

We repaired the damage, matched the existing colour and texture, and saved the whole worktop from being replaced.

🪵 Of ALL the places this floor could have split…

It chose right in the middle. 😂💥

Not by the wall.
Not somewhere you could conveniently cover with furniture.
Nope. Centre stage. 👀🎭

And did we mention the engineered oak flooring was brand new? 😬

Replacing that one damaged section could have meant disturbing perfectly good flooring around it, so we gave it another option. 🛠️✨

Repairing oak like this is where things get interesting — recreating the grain, texture and colour so the damaged area works with the surrounding floor again. 🎨🪵

🎥 Stick around for the transformation… this floor wasn’t staying the main character for long. 😏

🚿 It started with one tiny chip... during installation.

Before it was even properly in use, the damage was already there. 😅👀

Funny how the smallest bit of damage becomes the first thing you notice every single day.

The good news?

A chipped shower tray doesn't always mean a full replacement. 👌

We repaired the damaged area, saved the customer from unnecessary expense, and got the shower tray looking as it should from the start. ✨
