Question! Would like a one on one furniture building experience with direct tuition? A 3 or 4 day course where you learn how to take rough lumber and make fine furniture in a fully fitted workshop? And at the end, unlike some other courses, leave with a substancial piece of furniture you can say you built?

Its been a fantastic week having my first student in the workshop. Tom of the famed has been my first student gifted to him by his fabulous wife for he 40th birthday. And I'm sure you will agree the coffee table he produced with my guidance is fantastic. Consider this, this is his first attempt at fine furniture with hard woods. Absolutely brilliant.

We are close, but not quite there yet. The oak frame still needs to be ebonised, and I have to add a draw and draw front. Some finishing touches include contrasting Sapele dowels and splines, plus a carved draw pull. That being said, I am already smitten with the silhouette. Hit follow and see how this turns out.
