Completed back in May 2025, Unit 4 at Heads of the Valleys Industrial Estate in Rhymney is a new 26,203 sq ft industrial warehouse developed for Mileway UK.

progressive delivered the full roofing and cladding package, including built-up roof and wall systems, composite parapet panels, triple-skin rooflights and associated flashings and rainwater goods.

The completed building provides warehouse, manufacturing and office space and achieved EPC A, BREEAM Very Good and a Considerate Constructors Scheme score of 45/45.

Here's us installing the Kingspan Insulated Panels PowerPanel system.

Here's the breakdown: 10m+ panels, pre-assembled with integrated PV straight from Kingspan, each one individually lifted into position by crane. Paired with a CB4 CladBoy from 4 Cladding Services, working on a 35° pitched roof.

Roofing and solar generation in one system, built to boost energy performance and strengthen the whole building envelope.

We're pleased to confirm completion of our roofing and cladding package on Blessed Carlo, a new Catholic school in Merthyr Tydfil.

The £52m development covers 8,840 square metres and is designed to be net zero in operation once complete. progressive delivered the full roofing and cladding package on behalf of Willmott Dixon.

Once open, the school will provide 525 full-time primary places, 63 full-time equivalent nursery places, and 600 secondary places. A big project for a big community impact.

Meet Jack Mason, our new Trainee Draughtsman 👋

We have asked Jack a few questions to get to know him a little better...

📊 What does your role involve? As a Trainee Draughtsman, I create precise 2D and 3D digital drawings.

⏳ How long have you been with the team so far? Just two days so far, but I'm already looking forward to more!

🤝 What made you want to join progressive?I was made aware of the route into CAD at progressive, which lined up perfectly with my interest in design, stemming from my A-Level in Design and Technology.

📐 What are you most looking forward to learning in your role? The problem-solving side of things, being able to understand a challenge and work out how to solve it.

😲 What's one thing people would be surprised to learn about you? I moved house 8 times, all around the country, before I was even 8 years old.

🦸 If you could have any superpower for a day, what would it be? Either seeing the future, or flying so I could visit every country in the world.

🎤 What's your go-to karaoke song? Gr***de by Bruno Mars or Bad Romance by Lady Gaga.

Halfway through our re-roofing project at Airport Business Park in Plymouth.

We are sweeping and cleaning the existing EPDM, overlaying it with the new system (80mm PIR and single ply). Every abutment, upstand and expansion joint is being properly weathered as we go, with new refurbishment rainwater outlets.

Steady progress, done properly.

We're also filming a full time-lapse of the project start to finish, so keep an eye out for that once it's wrapped.

Our team headed to the village of Ogmore Vale in South Wales a couple of weeks ago, spending a few days on a great project to be involved in, working in a beautiful spot surrounded by hills and valleys.

We converted two portacabins into safe, fully functional changing rooms and shower facilities for Ogmore Vale RFC, giving players across their senior, veterans, and mini/junior teams the amenities they deserve 🏉

progressive installed a modern, insulated ceiling as part of a charity project led by Willmott Dixon. Materials were generously supplied by IKO PLC (UK), with our labour and Bauder Flat Roofs materials all donated free of charge.
